Grounding or Earthing occurs when your feet have the opportunity to connect to the Earth. Touching the Earth naturally discharges electrical stress from our bodies by facilitating the reception of free electrons. Earthing occurs when the nerves in our feet pick up the electron transfer from the earth. Earthing shifts our nervous system from a stress dominated state to one of calmness. By reconnecting to the earth, you enable your body to return to its normal electrical state, which makes you better able to self-regulate and self-heal. The easiest and most affordable way to practice Earthing is to walk outside barefoot. However in modern society, we wear insulating shoes from the moment we wake up, to the moment we go to bed. It's just a reality that most people don't regularly go barefoot, if at all, especially when outside. Moccasins: Our moccasins are made of all natural leather which makes them conductive.

Copper Rivets: Copper rivets are manually inserted into the middle of the foot-bed sole to allow some electron flow into your feet. This way you can wear rubber sole shoes or sandals but still experience earthing.

Barefoot is still the best.

You could wear our sheepskin slippers with some Mohair socks inside any of our Earthing shoes. But unfortunately your feet will still get cold during the winter months since your feet will likely get wet and our shoes don't offer enough insulation for outdoor temperatures. Canadian winters are not very friendly to those who want to practice Earthing. Please see our blog for ideas of how to practice Earthing in the Winter.

The best option is an earthing pad, bed sheet or other alternative grounding products we carry. Earthing shoes will only work inside if you are on a grounding pad or on concrete. For more ideas see our blog about conductive materials.

Only if they are not rubber soled or have no foam insoles. All our moccasins on our site are considered Earthing footwear as they are double soled with natural leather only. No synthetic or non conductive materials are used.

It is best to go barefoot while wearing Earthing shoes however, the best kind of socks to wear are are cotton or wool as moisture from the sweat glands in your feet produces perspiration which is essentially moisture and ions. Consequently the ions produced, then allow conduction through the fabric of the socks into the body. If you are looking for added warmth in your Earthing shoes you could also try sheepskin insoles.

You don't need the ground rod if your outlets are grounded (purchase an outlet checker or use the one included in your product). If the outlets are not grounded then if you are more than a few floors up the ground rod will not work. If you are hesitant about whether your outlets are grounded, you can order an outlet checker from out store.

Lux is a unit to measure the intensity of light. Indoor lighting might seem bright but is typically below 500 Lux. You should face the light and have it shine in your eyes. It is not necessary to look directly at it, but looking directly at the light won’t do you any harm. Sunglasses block light. If you wear sunglasses you will not be getting 10,000 Lux. Glasses do not block much light. If you wear glasses you will still get 10,000 Lux. You should not wear any apparel such as a visor that will block the light from reaching your eyes.

smartDOT and bioDOT are programmed differently. smartDOT acts as a filter and is designed to retune wireless radiation directly at its source so it is no longer harmful for the human body to absorb. smartDOT should be attached to a wireless device, such as a Wi-Fi router, mobile phone, baby monitor, tablet or games consoles.  However, bioDOT products such as bioBAND should be worn or attached to something you would wear, since they release natural frequencies which are designed to support the body’s biofield.

Ideally, your children should have a bioDOT product such as the bioBAND on them at all times. This will work to strengthen their biofield and protect them from ambient Wi-Fi, 4G and 5G emitted by any wireless devices near them. energydots products do not shield the radiation, but instead retune or harmonize the emissions to a more natural coherent frequency, meaning the body does not have to react to be around them. All the DOTs are waterproof but not necessarily what they are affixed to. While the bioBAND is fully waterproof and can be worn when showering, swimming etc, the bioTAG and bioCLIP for example may tarnish so we wouldn’t recommend getting them wet.

All energydots products last indefinitely so there is no need to replace or upgrade.

A smartDOT can go anywhere on your device but does not need to be stuck onto it to function. On a mobile phone, we’d recommend placing it centrally on the back of the phone or inside the phone case, so long as it is secure to prevent it from loss.

The adhesive of smartDOT is particularly strong, so if you need to move it from one device to another, for example if you upgrade your phone, we’d recommend you do this only once to avoid damaging it. If you have a phone or tablet case, simply slot the smartDOT in the back rather than removing the adhesive sticker – this way you can transfer it from device to device.

The adhesive of aquaDOT is very strong so will survive constant hand washes. However, we wouldn’t recommend dishwashing products which have the aquaDOT attached as it may not last as long.

The Space Pyramid works up to 90 meters squared, so effectively 45 meters in all directions from the center point. It will work through walls so we’d recommend positioning as centrally as possible within the home.
